The XHY Tuya Smart Room Thermostat connects via users WiFi to the Tuya Smart Life APP and is avaiable for both IOS & Android devices, no Gateway is required. Voice control is provided via Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Google Home.
Tuya APP Features
Temperature setting via APP with temperature dial and/or buttons.Mode selection for - Manual Mode, Automatic Mode, Holiday Mode or Frost Protection Mode
Manual Mode will retain this setting until the temperature setting is overridden or the mode is changed
Automatic Mode will follow the time/temperature settings for up to 6 daily settings.
Holiday Mode allows for a holiday temperature setting to be constantly maintained for up to 30 days.
Frost Protection Mode allows for long periods where the property will be empty, such as holiday homes.
Child / Key Lock facility, enable / disable the thermostat keys to prevent unauthorised changing of temperature at the thermostat
Programmable backlight setting from 0% (backlight off) to 100% (full backlight) in 20% steps
Maximum key temperature setting (20C to 40C) for example if set to 22C then the thermostat buttons will not allow any setting above 22C
Minimum key temperature setting (1C to 20C) for example if set to 18C then the thermostat buttons will not allow any setting below 18C
Select built-in or external temperature sensor, this can enable bathrooms to house the remote temperature sensor
Select sensor deadzone (0.1C to 0.5C), allows for maximum energy savings when a narrow deadzone is used.
Temperature correction -3.0C to +3.0C) this allows the temperature display to be offset to correct for poor thermostat placing
Select Control Type, Span or TPI, to prevent continuous switching of the heating system, setting to TPI will minimise energy consumed by using fixed cycles.
When TPI is used three settings are available, UFH / Radiator / Electric heating.
Optimum Start Enable or Disable, this will ensure the heating is switched on at the correct time when in Automatic mode
Optimum Stop Enable or Disable, this will save energy by swiching off efficiently when in automatic mode
